HOW TO ENCOURAGE CHILDREN

Benefits and tips for a lifestyle of encouraging others. Learn the right words to say to impact your children in a positive way. Encouragement and motivation are not permanent, just like bathing and eating are not.  You have to keep at it 365 days, 24 hours per day.  Do you know how to do that?  You need to be encouraged and inspired so you can pass that along to others…

YOU CAN DO IT…I CAN HELP!  Sign up to receive tips and benefits to encourage family!

DISCOVER THE SIMPLE SECRETS TO ENCOURAGEMENT: HOW WORDS CAN HEAL OR HURT THOSE YOU LOVE

My son was not chosen to be on the best little league team. What could I say to help him understand?  My daughter cried when she was not invited to the party everyone else was going to…It’s not if disappointing times will come, it’s when.

In every life some rain will fall and when those times come will you know what to do?  Do you like to pick at and criticize your children? Did you know surveys shows only 20% of parents compliment and praise their children every day?  Did you know research also shows more success in life for those kids that get praise every day?

Denzel Washington says,

“SHOW ME A SUCCESSFUL INDIVIDUAL AND I’LL SHOW YOU SOMEONE WHO DIDN’T WANT FOR POSITIVE INFLUENCES IN HIS OR HER LIFE.”

Research shows kids need lots of encouragement, affirmations and praise, just like adults and for the same reasons, only more so.

To be able to think rationally

To be creative and resourceful

To be successful in life

To learn courage and many other reasons you will learn in this ebook

If you are as crazy about your kids—children—loved ones-as I am, then you definitely want to keep on reading.  Kids grow up so fast. It seems like yesterday they are in your home and then they are gone, making their own way in the world. Do you want to wonder, ‘did I say the right words to them, do the right things for them’?

Teresa says this book helped her kids to smile again!

Wow!  I'm so thankful that I took the time to read your ebook about how to encourage others.  As a mother of 4, I especially appreciated the section relating to children.  While I have always known that encouragement is important, I haven't taken the time to really study the subject and purposefully incorporate it daily.  This ebook motivated me to refocus and apply what I've learned.  I'm more positive, sincere in my comments, and joyful as I look for ways to encourage my family. The biggest bonus is seeing the smile on their faces as they sense my approval and then happily pass it on to each other.

We are on this earth for such a short time. Can you imagine how good it will feel to look back and say I am truly proud of how I've raised my children!

Don't waste your opportunities to impact your children in a positive way.

How would you like to know exactly what to say to make your kids perform better in school and give more energy to just about everyone you meet?

Get solid practical timely advice and encouragement just in time to know what to say to your child. The way a child thinks of himself later on in his life is influenced by the way he has been spoken to early on.  Doesn’t your heart just break when you hear parents yelling at their kids in the grocery or discount store.  If only they knew the difference encouraging their child and speaking affirmations and praise over them could make. And the hurt they are causing their children without realizing it.  How do you break bad habits?

Did you ever hear these lines from the poem by Dorothy Law Nolte…

What happens to your children if they live in the negative realm?

“if your child lives with criticism, he learns to condemn,

if he lives with ridicule, he learns to be shy,”

and then in the positive realm…

“if he lives with encouragement, he learns to have confidence,

if a child lives with approval, he learns to like himself,

if a child lives with acceptance and friendship, he learns to find love in the world.”

Wouldn’t you like to know what to do to help your child find love, acceptance, purpose and balance in a crazy mixed up world?

I know you would do whatever it takes to encourage and inspire your child to do their best and hopefully live the life they were meant to live. If only you know how…

Time is your most precious resource and you never know how a few sincere words and a moment of your time can impact a life.

It's tough to live in the real world with global terror, fear of epidemic health outbreaks and soaring crime rates threatening any bit of good news we have. Never before have we had so much stuff and been so empty inside. How will you react to disasters in your life? What can you do or say to bring out the positive potential force that resides in a child?  It starts when they are young and keeps on building…

    “LORD, I KEEP THINKING

ABOUT THAT ten YEAR OLD GIRL

    WHO TOLD ME HER MOTHER

    HADN’T HUGGED HER

    SINCE SHE WAS IN THE

    First GRADE—

WHAT MAKES PEOPLE HOLD THEIR HUGS BACK?

    IS THERE SOMEONE

    WHO’S WAITING

FOR A HUG or an encouraging word

    FROM ME?”

Robert Raines, Lord, can you make it a little better?

The things we don't know are the things we fear the most! You can learn and then confidently know what to do and say the right things to your children and others in your life.

Don't waste your opportunities…

YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN A MOMENT AND A FEW ENCOURAGING WORDS CAN HAVE AN IMPACT ON A LIFE! Zig Ziglar says; “Positive thinking won’t let you do anything, but it will let you do everything better than negative thinking will.”

Did you know that everyone-children and adults-are waiting for you to notice them and tell them they matter. But how do you give affirmations and praise in a way they know is real?

“Every child on this earth has an overwhelming desire to be loved, to be wanted, to be appreciated. To the extent that we can fulfill this desire will we find happiness ourselves.”

Do you know what to do for support?  Imagine a CAST. It stabilizes and helps to heal a broken bone. Imagine knowing words that stabilize and heal a broken heart. Picture a cast as an acronym for encouragement-COMING ALONG SIDE TOGETHER-acting as the stabilizing support to the wounds encountered in life. Learn how to be that positive affirming person in your child’s life.

Moms are busy, Dads are busy and kids are busy.  Everyone is trying to pack too much activity into our day and the ones we love the most get squeezed out.  Here's a simple 60 second–one minute memo to remind your family how much you care.  Get colorful post-its or if you are creative make your own note cards.  They could be as simple or as artistic as time allows—with names, favorite activities, sports, hobbies…anything that helps your loved ones know you are thinking of them.

One Minute PRAISE.  Write a short, one or two sentence note such as: "you are so good in music, or soccer, or remembering to call your grandmother".  "Keep up the good work. I love you."  Or, "you’re a great friend to Sarah".  "You are so kind when you think of your brother that way."  "You look nice when you wear that color." The more you can pinpoint a specific action, the easier it will be for them to remember.
